[ARCHIVED THREAD] - C&R Wait

New guy with a question.

I requested a C&R application from the BATFE almost two weeks ago. I should be receiving it soon. I hope!

Do I have to wait for the forms from the feds or can I print the form off the web and send in?

I would like to get it started prior to the change of Administration.

Thanks for any help.

I've been waiting over two months for the forms. You can't download that form. I posted in the C&R forum and was fortunate to find someone that was kind enough to mail me an extra. Try to contact "max229" and see if he has another one.

You can download the Form 1's and 4's and the citizenship certifications. But you will need the Fingerprint cards with the correct ORI number.

I ordered the form online and waited at least 3-4 weeks and it never came. I then called the local atf office and they gave me # to call and I spoke to someone over the phone and I just got my form last week after maybe 10 days or less.

It varies.
I've had ATF forms never show up after ordering them.
Some came in 2 days.

Always order multiple copies of whatever forms you are requesting. The price is the same and you'll have a spare for later.

Call the KC BATF office and ask for the forms. This worked for several of my customers which had been waiting for some time for forms from the main distribution center.
