I've always leased a car and been required to maintain high insurance levels.

What is the cheapest I can get away with on a car I own?

thanks!

PIP / Liability insurance , you have to call and price it with the companies you want to try to go with . Then you maybe looking at a down payment unless you do automatic payments and whatever else they all ask for .

I would not go without BI coverage unless you have deep pockets.

Basically. Also shop mom & pop places. If you just want cheap insurance to cover someone else's car let them wait for a payout from some hole in the wall, c rated insurance company. It's not like they are going to touch your car if you only have liability anyway.
