Getting a car registered that a friend is letting me use till i leave, and its stickers are out for almost a year (wasnt being used or running). He cant lcoate the title, but can he just goto the tax office and get a new sticker? Will they be able to ppull him up and do that? Or will they have to have the title and/or the invoice thing they mail out?

I have never had to take the title to register a car.  As long as the car is registered in his name, and the address on his driver's license matches their records, he should have no problems.

He will also have to show proof of insurance.  The State is supposed to be working on a "valid insurance" database to combat fake insurance cards, but I am not certain of its status.
