Guys I'm looking for a good carry knife. What are you guys carrying.
I've been looking at the Kershaw Blackout.

I carry a Sog Visionary II. My wife bought it for me for Christmas and it is AWESOME! Super light grips, awesome VG-10 steel and I like the way SOG positions their clip on the right end of the knife. Here is the link, but don't worry you can find it a lot cheaper than on their website. I hope this helps!

I have a kershaw blackout and a kershaw skyline. I carry the skyline , the blackout doesn't carry well. The skyline is flat enough to still be able to use the pocket your carrying it in. Their both easy to keep sharp, and the skyline is only like 32 dollars.
Just my 2cents

Been carrying an Emerson CQC15 for a long time now. I also have an Emerson CQC8. Had the commander for a while. All have the wave and are very fast drawing and a very strong knife.

Good knife, not to pricey... Pretty much perfect...

I've already proven I'm not responsable enough to keep a nice 1500-200 knife...  Three times now...  I buy a 35-40 knife and have it for 5 year without lossing it...

Guilty here of that too.  I'm on my second one in... maybe three-four years?

Spyderco para military 2, possibly one of the best knives i've ever owned.  They are right at $100 but worth every penny!

Sog mini Ageis. That way when they fall in the lake  it is not the end of the world. One is in 35 feet of water at the end of my boat dock.

I kind of like my Leatherman Charge. Got pliers, screw drivers, two knifes, limb saw and a couple different files to boot. Had a Leatherman wave before this. I also carry an old case single blade knife. The Charge is only about 100 bucks and you get so much with it. It even doubles up so you can go stealth with it inside of your fist to give it more weight and something for the fingers to wrap around to help you from dislocating your knuckles. Great knife in my book.

I found a Blackout on clearance at the Walmart in Clinton for $30. It carries pretty good in a jeans pocket and it is scary sharp!

Did a ton of research on this for the all around best carry knife.

Hissatsu Folder by CRKT.

Slicing through a carcass is exactly what it's made to do. Holds an edge forever too.

CRKT m16, Old Timer Stockman, Kershaw Chive, Case Trapper all make it into the rotation. I used to have a Mini Griptilian that I carried all the time, but it got taken at the statue of Liberty. Tried a full size Griptilian for a while, but it was pretty bulky to carry and the blade was ruined cutting through a power steering line.

I'm a Spyderco fan.  I've carried a Lightweight Delica in one form or another for ~20 years.  Small enough not to panic the sheeple when you pull it out, yet large enough to handle most anything a EDC knife can be asked to do.

Benchmade Presidio 523SBK... its big, its scary looking, and it cost a little cheddar, but I like it. Hell I would probably pick up the auto version of it if MO would allow it (I have to much contact with LE to be doing things blatantly illegal)

I don't baby my knives though, I work them hard and have pride in the worn look that they develop. This is the most expensive knife I have ever carried as an EDC so we'll see how it holds up, if it makes it 2 years I will be most happy with it.

I carry and use a kershaw chive everyday . I am an electrician and like being able to open the knife with one hand .  the blade will hold an edge and is one tough sob  . I use it for everything from prying out staples to stripping 750 mcm cable. this particular one has rode in my pocket for 5 years.

I have 4 knives I love. I carry 2 at all times.

Kershaw 1475st

My S&W HRT

My S&W HRT BOOT KNIFE
I wear as neck knife

[
My Gerber

I always carry my hrt spring assisted, thats my main one, then I decide either my gerber or my kershaw as well. All are one handed  operated, with pkcket clip.  Mykershaw and gerber are heavier and thicker blades, my hrt is a very thin light blade. They each have thier own  purpose.  Such as, if I need to open a envelope, use my hrt, if I need to cut a thick rope or wood of some sort, use my gerber or kershaw.  When im on the clock I carry my neck knife under my vest and my two pocket knives, plus I have a much larger back up weapon, fixed 13inch knife that stays in my boot at all times. Not pictured. I only wear those boots when working. I look at knives more as tools than weapons. Ive used a blade thousands of times as a tool, never as a weapon.

Winchester ParFive

I've been leery of Winchester knives in the past, but this one looked cool so I picked it up (<$30) and it is AWESOME. The fit and finish is VERY durable. Blade and pocket clip are both rock solid, even after every day wear and use for nearly a year. Blade is still razor sharp even after quite a bit of use (found out on my finger the other day opening boxes )

Zero play or wiggle in the blade and pocket clip, but still easy to open and close. This one is good to go in my book.

Picked it up at the local fun shop, they're easy to find locally.

Have had a Kershaw Vapor in my pocket for about 3 years now.
Holds an edge well.
I'm not overly nice to it, It has held up rather well.
Only real issue I have with is it can be a little slippery when your hands are wet.

I just lost my Kershaw at work today.  I loaned it out and never got it back (person swears they gave it back).  Now I gotta get a new knife.  I've been thinking about if I want to carry a folder still or go with a small fixed blade like a Buck skeleton handle or something.  Although I'll still carry a folder of some sort, I've been seriously considering it.  What are your feelings on daily carry fixed blade knives that aren't huge Rambo or Crocodile Dundee knives?

Tacforce Speedster w.assist -  Heck it don't have a model - $20.  Serrated blade, razor hook and glass break.   If I lose it.  Who cares?

I have a Buck I carried for close to 30 years.  Lost it one day and almost had a heart attack until I found it.  Put it up and bought a cheapo knife.  I could hit this thing with a hammer.  Holds a good edge.

I am going to start sounding like a fan boy here, but I was a little leery about the Axis system when I got my presidio, but I have to say I don't think I will ever go back to a liner lock, thinking back how much sense does it really make to place your digit directly inline with a closing (hopefully) razor sharp blade?

I carry a CRKT M16-14SF and I just bought my wife a SOG Twitch II.  The CRKT is alright, it's pretty big though.  I really like the SOG and I think my wife does too.
