I live in NY but have my PA self defense permit. We're can and can't I go and do?

I never heard of a self defense permit but I could be wrong. In PA they issue a LTCF(license to carry firearm). If your out of state you can apply for one here but need to show proof that you have one from your home state.

I found it, thanks. It has answered all my questions.
I have my License to carry permit, since I live out of state my reason for having it is self defense. I normally only bring it to Pa when I ride my atv in ANF.

How did you get a PA LTCF if you live in NY? I assume you also have a NY carry license?

I wish I could get a NY LTCF permit. I am in NY a lot on business. All I have hit were walls. No one can tell me how. I am a PA resident w LCTF. Then again my carry firearm is illegal anyway it holds 14 in the Mag.
