Wondering what the environment for a good Gunsmith is in the Cheyenne area. I have a well established 'Smithing business out of the northern Denver metro area and with Colorado going retard on it's gun laws I am looking at the very real possibility of relocating my business.
Texas has its points but I can see it going red, especially if immigration amnesty gets the green light.
I feel Cheyenne area may be better as a good portion of my customer base has stated they would not mind the extra drive to get to me.
Thoughts?
Ideas?

You might do ok. Would it be a gunsmithing only business, or maybe guns and accessories also? I have never had to use a gunsmith before.

You would probably do pretty good. The gunsmiths that I do know here are pretty backed up.

I am strictly a Smith.
I worked the retail end for 5 years at a shop down here and I have no desire to go back in it.
I also have a full service machining capability and welding so I have no problem offering general machine shop/repair services as well.
One advantage is my Northern CO and Denver customers for the most part would have no problem making the trip up there.

So tell me a bit about Cheyenne proper....Any parts in the area to NOT look at property? Crime?

Edumacate me please
