Coming to pick up my order, inshallah, on Tuesday or Wednesday, as Fed Ex will be snowed under the week of Christmas. Bringing my FFL w/ me, so may bring some east Texans along to go apawning. Any recommendations for pawnshops/gunshops? Lunch? Would love to meet any of y'all in the area if you've got time. I think you are going to be ok with the weather & Fedex. Memphis is looking clear for next week. But if you are coming up here. I would check out Cash in a Flash on North Market for a pawn shop Red River Range is good also I would bring a cooler & hit up Farmers Seafood & Bergeron's For places to eat Herby K's Oyoster Bar & Grille Magnolia Pit BBQ Superior Mexican Food Rolling in Dough Flying Heart Brewery Ernest's I would join you man, but I work retail & we are wide open busy right now. If you plain to stay rhe night. Just do not stay in Shreveport, ALL MOST any where in Bossier is good to go though |
| Generally Fed Ex is really good from Shreveport to here, I'll get two-day air and Ground on Tuesday that shipped Monday. But for a few bucks in gas it's too much to risk in the week before Christmas. And I may get to see some relatives when I visit. |

Just got back. Thanks for the suggestions, we tried to go to Ron's, but they close early on Tuesdays, or maybe just this week. We did make Cash in a Flash, they were very friendly, but my east Texas ARFCOMer wasn't fascinated w/ anything, nor did we have much time before we had to catch dinner w/ my aunt & uncle. Sports South gave us a tour of their automated warehouse, which is amazing, they even have some FedEx Express employees working in the warehouse full time. And Santa was able to deliver a Kel-Tec magazine early to Tyler, but didn't go down the chimney. |
