I had one a long time ago (partnership) and I don't know what happened to it.
Anybody have a suggestion?
I got a surprise using Rat's dad a couple of weeks ago. One 357 load was about 200 fps slower than I it was supposed to be by the book, the other one right on.
So, anybody have a favorite model that isn't too expensive?
Hell, I'm not going to change loads for my older rifles that I've had for years. But I can definitely use one for working on the 223 and 22-250 loads for my Encores.
Thanks for your help!!!

Thanks anyway PC.
My partner doesn't know what happened to the one we had and neither do I.
He's past 50 like me and has more CRS than I do.
So I'll just get one. I should have one anyway.
What type do you have? Pluses and minuses?

I have the Pact Model 1 XP, I recommend that if you buy one to get one that the brains sit on the bench out of the line of fire.  There are two kinds of people who use chronos, those who have shot the sensors...and those who will, so get the brains on the bench out of the line of fire, if the computer is in with the screens it can get mighty expensive.

I got a pact model 1 also; the brainbox has been trouble free since I bought it back in 89', the sky screens less so do to me blasting the hell out of them a time or two

still haven't replaced them and the bar since blasting them into several pieces a while back

mine has a review of 20 shot strings; gives info for HI, Low, avg fps for string, extreme spread, standard deviation and avg deviation.

the sky screen mounting bar is 24" long and is recommended to be set 8' from end of muzzle for centerfire pistol and 12' for centerfire rifle.

I blasted one of my skyscreens, didn't realize it till I couldn't get consistent readings, I had broken the lens inside it, the nice thing is it was cheap to fix it, seems like $10-$15 for a brand new one.
