I live near Santa Fe.  I was told that Calibers in ABQ would be a good place to have suppressors and possibly a machine gun transferred.  Not.  I made several phone calls and never spoke with a person who knew anything about class 3.  So, I paid a visit in person on a Sunday. A lot of range rental but no one with time or expertise in class 3  I was told that "Chris" handles the class 3.  Fine.  I called and tried to talk to Chris that same week.  Chris evidently cycles between stores and no one knew where Chris was that day.  And Chris does not return phone calls left on voice mail.  No chance I would leave a $25k mg or a handful of suppressors.

That said, does anyone have actual, personal, experience with another class 3 licensee?  The recommendation for Calibers I doubt was from someone who actually did a transfer there.

thanks

Try Omni. I'm sure they will respond soon.

Talk with Lee at Omni Arms.  I think the Tranfer fee is $75 there is probably an ARFcom discount.

+1 for BMC.
Those guys have a lot of NFA experience. More so than any other shop in town.
