| what's ur opinion i haven't had to many good experiences with him but i know a lot of people like him any stories |
| I know John more then Clayton. John will usually "wheel and deal", Clayton is all about the $$$$. The guy that does the Class 3,,, well. I go to see John. He has alot to look at. If there is something that I'm looking for specifically I'll try John to look at the product, sometimes I might by but it depends on price. Some of their prices are out there. I can take them or leave them, once again its mainly for the selection to "see something". |
you are right there is defiantly a lot to look at is it just me though or is that place always a mess |

Much nicer than the Trooper place. John has always been nice to me, but the biggest complaint I have with them is they don't price their stuff and 50% of the time I ask how much something is, they say to ask John, but John isn't always there????? I have no idea how this can occur and they still have money to pay their bills, but I've heard more than a few people complain about the same thing. People can't buy something if they can't get a price for it. |

Make time, you won't regret it They are only 15-20 minutes from Claytons Examples: I mostly buy used guns, and the 2 I've bought this year that weren't C&R were from Tanners: 1. Savage model 10, 20" heavy barrel, .308 - $299. Shot it a few months and sold it for $400 2. S&W 642, .38 Centennial "Ladysmith" airweight. Hey, a 642 is a 642, dosen't matter if it says ladysmith or airweight on the sideto me! I paid $219, excellent condition (probably fired once). Its in my pocket now. |
