I was at sharp shooters earlier today squeezing off a few rounds. One of the range officers and I were chatting while I was waiting for my target to reset and he made a comment to the affect of "working here you would be surprised what I see". Literally 30 seconds later the other ranger officer on duty came up and motioned to his coworker to come over his way, he was holding a glock. I overheard the conversation, apparently someone was shooting 9mm through a .40 and messed up their gun. They were able to get three rounds off before they noticed anything.
Needless to say I'm glad that at a young age my father taught me how to handle a firearm, and that I have some common sense. |
