I just looked at a wind chill map for the US. Austin has a lower wind chill than northern Michigan. That just ain't right.

I HAVE TO ADMIT IT IS COLDER THAT A WITCH'S ....... YOU KNOW THE REST OF IT. IT WAS NICE TO HAVE THAT STEAMIN' BOWL OF DEER CHILI ACCOMPANIED BY THE NACHO CHEESE WITH SAUSAGE AND PEPPERS IN IT AND CHIPS AND A COUPLE OF CHICKEN ENCHILADAS TONIGHT THOUGH!!!!!! I COOKED DINNER FOR THE WIFEY AND SHE LOVED IT. NOW MAYBE IF I TELL HER I AM COLD I MIGHT GET TO SEE HER WITCH'S T_ _ ........? lol I THINK I HEARD SOMETHING LIKE IT WQOULD BE A COLD DAY IN HELL WHEN I JOKED ABOUT IT EARLIER. I THINK I HEAR CHARLIE DANILES AND SOME OTHER GUY PLAYING FIDDLE IN THE NEXT ROOM. I HOPE IT IS THE DEVIL! |
Consider it signed! Dammit, I didn't move to Texas to be COLD!!! On the plus side, school was canceled today, which makes me  for joy, after a reallyyyyy bad day yesterday!Only 6 more days to go, and I'm outta there!

Telecommuting is a wonderful thing, particularly when one has to bring the "devil cat" to the vet with an all of a sudden UTI. Oh well, might as well top the day off with a trip to the processor to pick up some venison.

The way the end of this year is going, this may be the first season in 22 years I haven't killed a deer. Bleh. Might have to jet down to South Texas and make a day trip just to fill the freezer. If so, Bambi's going to have a rough day. |

my boss calls it a meritorious well deserved dayy off! I'll second that. I told her it took 1 hour and 45 minutes from Highland Park to Keller and had to use 4 wheel drive the last 5 miles last night and she said ......forget about it! stay home! yeeeeehaw! I am so glad I rented 4 videos at Blockbuster last night before I got home! I hate soap operas. and the range is closed |
1hr 45mins?!?!?! Hell that was my DAILY commute when I was living in SoCal So what movies did ya rent???  I got Dukes of Hazzard and Fantastic Four last nite.
