Just wanted to update that it took the Cole County Sheriff's Dept. 15 days to get my CCW processed. I think that's a pretty good turn around time. Now to go buy some bigger pants so I can start carrying.

I've never had an issue with Cole county. From Hemeyer to White all has been a breeze. There's a reason they call it "God's Country".  |

Sounds like a good guy, the county sheriff where I live is much the same way, they don't even charge for prints, free renewls, and only want a check made out to the MSHP for the background check. The police chief for the area that I work in has told me himself that they would have to take his gun before he would ever allow the people in his jurisdiction to be disarmed. I wish more CLEOs had the same sentiment. |

News came out Feb. 8th according to the instructor listing it on MoCarry.com http://www.missouricarry.com/forums/showthread.php?t=62918 Now this does not mean that the individual sheriff's will lower what they are charging for a CCW application. New charge to the sheriff for the background check is $30.50 |
