| Just got back to Cali after being gone for awhile. We drove to Colfax today and found the BLM shooting area was shut down. Anybody have any idea why? Just clean-up issues or did something happen? |

The fire was the last straw... I read a news report saying it was shut down initially because of a fire near by. Somehow it was linked to shooters by the media (even though there was no real evidence that it was a shooter that started it). Then it was just never reopened. From what I understand it is closed permanently and a thread on another forum (maybe it was Calguns) was trying to get people to call the local BLM office (Folsom office I think) to show support for a new one to be opened. |
