Around $.50 a round for most calibers - slightly less or more depending on particular calibers and guns, and how many rounds/mags you buy at once. When I rent, I give a pretty good discount for multiple mags ($40 for 3 30rd mags through any of my rifle-caliber mg's). $5 a round for .50, sometimes slightly less, again depending on quantity and the gun. I won't be at Cheyenne this year, though. |

Been there the last two years and enjoyed every minuet of it. The first yer I was cash strapped, but still enjoyed shooting a few things. Last year was different. I got to shoot everything I wanted to. Lots of choices as to what to shoot. The best was shooting the fully auto M16 then going to the fully auto AK47. It was great to compare both of them. I know, I know, this a AR15 website, but it was great. I had just traded my AK47 a month or two earlier, so it was great to hold one again. Enjoy the shoot. If your funds are a little short, it is always fun to just watch and chat with all the other people. Last year they blew up a mobile home. I was sitting next to the owner of the property and it was his trailer that he had donated for the shoot. It was great to talk to him and thank him for letting us on his property to do this. Hope to see you all there! |

Unfortunately we wish we could do it closer to Denver, but where else can you get a 10 mile backstop and have the chance to shoot at RC Airplanes. The running cars can be done on shorter ranges but using anti-aircraft setups is trickier since the angle you are shooting would be much higher than any berms. I know it is a drive, but this year I did the smart thing and rented a Class A motorhome to stay onsite for the 4 days. alan |
| We will be in a nice popup camper this year. That is a lot of miles to do in one day. Looking forward to the night tracer show. Also, it will be nice to have a place to relax during the down times when they are setting up the range. I will be there with a couple of other AR15 members and a newbie. Looking forward to it! Hope to see you all there. |
Cool pics, I loved firing the Krinkov last year. Not very accurate, but a real bullet hose. |
