Hello everyone! I will be driving through your states on my way to New Orleans for the Sugar Bowl. I am a Georgia CCW permit holder and as my state has reprocicity with all of the states I will be going through, I was wondering if there are any odd laws I will have to deal with if I want to carry in either of the three states.

i'f stopped by the police in LA, you must advise them you are a CCW holder an armed,

You'll be good here. I would advise LE if you get pulled over in Alabama, Ive been carrying for ten years and have not got a ticket. Ive been pulled over many times(I drive kinde fast)they always let me go when I hand them my permit.

I would advise just the opposite. In Alabama, you're not required to inform a cop of your armed status unless he asks. It's concealed and should stay that way.

The city of NO has some odd laws. i would check on carrying specifically in the city.

in Mississippi you are also not required to inform the peace officer
