Planning a service for my Mom-in-law for next week.  I collected about a hundrex pix on a CD to show at her service next week, but the AV guy there would like misic to play from the same CD while the slide show is running.

How in the heck do I do that?

WA content: She served a Bremerton Hospital during WW II, she wil be in Tahoma Nat'l Cemetary, the service is in WA.

I would think you'd have to make it into a DVD with the embedded slideshow.

MSFT Movie Maker or Power Point. It will be easier for you to play them on a Laptop if you don't know how to burn to a playable DVD.

Hmm, I don't have a DVD burner, and still have win XP

Guess I will do the CD slide show and a music player for audio

MSFT Move Maker should be in XP, if not I believe it's a free download. According to MSFTHERE it's in SP2.
If you have SP2 or higher installed you should already have it.

It should be in Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Entertainment (Off the top of my head)
