Anyone going this weekend?

I think I am going on Saturday.   Going to take a Kimber Ultra Raptor II and $200 and see if I can turn it in to a Commander sized 1911.

I am going to meet my brother-in-law and one other former Marine. I do not plan on buying anything unless I see some reloading gear of mag pouch and duce gear at a decent price.

I'll probably be there.

Looking for a 1911 compact for the wife and reloading components for me.  Maybe a few more mags if they aren't asking for first born.

I'll be there as well.  If I see a decent FAL for a fair price I'll buy.  Otherwise just reloading gear for .45 ACP and .308.

So how was the Show?

Had to work Sat and am too tired to go Sunday unless something really compels me to go.

When I got there I thought it might not be too bad since I managed to park fairly close to the door... then I saw the line. It was insane in there. What kind of Einstein thinks it's a good idea to ride his electric scooter down the MIDDLE of EVERY AISLE?!? And then there's the idiots letting kids play with switchblades and guns. All I was looking for were a couple of Glock parts. Yes, I finally broke down and bought a Glock, glad I didn't wait for the show, I couldn't find a single G20SF in the building. A couple of 21s, but no 10mms. Anyway, none of the parts I needed were anywhere, not even the place that advertises they have glock parts. Only thing I found was 250 10mm lead bullets for $32. Nothing else was too interesting.

Was there early....about 40 in line at 0900.  By 1030 is was packed with people.

Picked up some small parts...from the gent who had them in the small white plastic bins.....good prices! and he was most helpful.
Picked up buffer tube, buffer, and spring from Jen @ Texas Tactical..... great price...thanks guys!

Chatted with the T/C contender gent from Lake Jackson....always enjoy his wares.
Stopped by a new cast bullet vendor.....Seven Ways Mfg / ph. 936.662.3562  based in Willis, Tx.  They had decent prices....good basic stuff.... 45ACP 200 & 230 / 44 240 & 200 / 38 158 / 9mm 124, etc.
And they will ship them to you in a USPS flat rate box ... for $12.00

Many, many people....the pistol vendors (like the folks from Clute)....were mobbed.

Lots of stripped lowers......a few parts kits.......looks like the manufacturers are shipping lowers.  Wonder if the AR parts / upper supply chain will catch up with demand shortly???
Hey, did anyone purchase the PMC 223...he only wanted $500 for the 1000rds/can.  And he also had PMC 45 & 40 for––-$43 per 50rd box.
ya'll take care......!

I think you walked behind me during the buffer buying process, I was talking to... dammit, what's his name. The shaven headed one.

Those are the cast 10mms I picked up. Loaded 15 last night to check the load and they're pretty nice to work with. If they shoot nice I'll get ahold of 'em and see if I can pick some up. Willis isn't that far and an extra $12 kills the economy. Might as well shoot SXTs at that point.

I was there about 10 till 9.  As stated before, it wasn't bad until 10 to 10:30.  I saw a whopping 2 FALs and both were ridiculously overpriced.  Got some cleaning supplies and that's about it.  Way too much for most things I was interested.

I went late..got there about 10 till 5, wasnt so crowded at that time. Of course there were no p-mags to be found any where. I did happen to pick up a new 1911 though. Got up to Houston County later that day and put 100 rounds through the new Kimber, it is quickly becoming my favorite pistol.

I got there Sat. about noon and it was packed.  Just picked up some 30rd mags.  Didn't find a 1911 for the wife and reloading components were pretty picked over.

SOG Armory did have windowed black Pmags for $20 or $25 (can't remember) but were probably gone by the time you got there.
