Just to clarify, the Saiga sporter is the 7.62x39mm (or .308, .223, 5.45x39,etc...) that we typically associate with the term Saiga?
Let me just say that the thought of those still being legal is inspiring to me, especially given the wording of the named ban list. Who is selling them? Has DESPP issued a formal opinion on them? Inquiring minds are eager to know? (and to know the basis behind their legality) |

I cleared out a space in my inbox for you. Aww I feel so special. I decided to cancel my order on the above. Not worth it. I'll just wait until I'm in free territory. Possibly jump the gun on converting the handguard to standard AK (no rails). Not sure if that's a smart idea, though, as it brings the "look" and "parts interchangeability" even closer to an AK.
