Crazy Ray passed away this morning.  Neither Becky nor I have been able to get a hold of Mattie to see how she is doing.

Mattie is doing as well as can be expected.  Their family is planning a public memorial service, for details please check www.savecrazyray.com

Ray's passing was not unexpected.  That still does not make it any easier to lose someone that no matter how sick he was or how he felt showed nothing but kindness to everyone that met him.

Please keep Mattie in your thoughts, she has not been doing well, healthwise, for the last few months either.

There should be a statue of him at the stadium... that guy was a fixture.

It's a sad thing.

I miss his anticcs and wonderful personality.  He loved to fish, especially for catfish.  He was good at too.  Thats how I first met him, fishing.  Our paths crossed a few more times over the years, and it was always catfish fishing.  Him always wearing that hat with soda can rotating on top, or the plastic water facet out the front.  He always made me smile, he always made my mom and dad smile, we were just a trio of thousands of people who he made smile.  My prayers go out to his widowed wife, and to the thousands of "Crazy Ray" fans.
