I stumbled onto areaconnect.com and just for the fun of it decided to compare our wonderful bastion of enlightenment and Liberal virtue, Madison, against that dank pit of crime, Washington DC. On the website, there is even a handy bar grapn. It's kind of fun to compare a few cities I've seen. It was sort of interesting how Madison stacked up percentage-wise in the areas of forcible rape, burglary, and larceny theft. And it was even more interesting that they were above the national average in the rape department.
