Haven't been able to find anyone in Kitsap county who will do this type of work in the six years I've lived here.  I picked up a business card for a Mr. Paul Stevens ("1 Man Machining") after a recent visit to the Surplus Ammo guys in Lakewood.  Mr. Stevens will cut, crown and thread a barrel for a nominal fee. He's located in Olympia. I have a .308 AR barrel that I've been aching to have this job done, so IM me if you're interested in a short road trip. I'm in Poulsbo.

None of these are in Kitsap, but I have had luck with Southridge Arms and Rainier Arms.

Same question here but farther north.  I'm looking for threading service in the Island County/Skagit county area.  I too would rather not ship this type of work out.

Ed LaPour in Bremerton can do the work, but he ain't cheap.  Then again his work is world class.
