The only shooting areas I know of are close to Eugene/Springfield. I used to keep them secret, but I got tired of hearing from people that they didn't know where to go that was less than an hour's drive. So now, I just tell them. I have yet to run into any of them when I go up to shoot, so I don't mind.
I just went shooting today, and broke in my new AR pistol. I posted a pic of it in the Oregon pics thread. It amazes me how some spots I shoot at remain spotless despite a moderate volume of shooting occurring there, while other spots are completely thrashed. I have noticed that a few of the thrashed spots over the years are the ones that end up getting a locked gate. So I clean up anyone elses shit when I police my own mess. A couple of times I have headed to the dump with my truck bed filled with target trash. I swear, if I ever catch one of these fuckers shooting monitors and t.v.'s on OUR land..... I have always wanted to go to ARPC and visit. I drive by it twice a day weekdays, but have yet to make an appointment to visit. Hear lot's of good things, though. |

Maybe it is a taboo subject, but I am very curious what the meltdown in Oregon htf was over?
It seems that the Oregon htf is the least busy, compared to all the others. I think that it is time that us newbies, with whatever old timers are still hanging around, liven this place up. I utilize the technical forums constantly, and dabble in GD a little bit, but GD is rife with jack wagons and asshattery. I'll do my part by posting new threads, and posting more pics in the Oregon gun porn thread. |

I think I have only met 2-3 arfcomers. Usually just to buy stuff from the EE I met a group of them at a shoot up the Clackamas two years ago...including the lovely CapeHunter... 
Great group of guys, even the guy from the "west side"
They shared some fun stuff....I'd go again, even offer to BBQ next time, can't offer the fun stuff you guys have. |

I took a bunch of guys out almost every weekend this summer and it was a blast. Lots of full auto, silenced, and big boom fun. I am always shooting!!!! |
