here you go
There is a place right out side the gpstc gates in forsyth. If you live close to there, they install and probobly have these in stock. By the way, galls is the shiznit of the public safety suppliers. They sell just about everything to the general public |

For me it's not the glare as much as it is the car getting so stinking hot. I go everywhere, and a lot of the time I'm parked on courthouse squares with no shade and 150 degree interior surfaces. Just cutting down on the thermal effects would be handy. We're going to MN in June and they are a 50% state. If 35% is really that much better I'll survive the bs stops for our occasional trips. Otherwise I'll just go with legal everywhere. it's only 15% how much better can it be? |

Quoted: Actually it's a lil more than you'd think, most tint shops will have a display with the differences, a lot less light gets in the car, and just by tinting the rears darker and adding the tint strip it will make the car harder to see into and not out of. I looked at a marauder, and I couldn't even see the mileage because it was so dark. I know that can't be aftermarket legal (damn special interest car makers). I'd love to be able to get the lock bar and tint installed at the same place. |

I almost got a marauder a few years ago, i love those cars, but the one i looked at had 15% all around if i can remember, it was dark though. Still want that car, but a divorce stopped me from getting it. |

Quoted: Nice trunk. You can put at least four bodies in there. So, why'd your thread get locked? Not allowed to talk about buyin a pimp mobile? ![]() Not allowed to ask for help to find it. And it's not a pimp mobile. My old 84 caprice classic in gold was a pimp mobile. it fit 7 bodies... |

Quoted: that's a lot, i drove an explorer for 2 years with double layered 5% and 35% on the windshield and never got stopped, had to roll the windows down to drive at night tho ![]() At first I thought "pretext" but I'm finding it happening on the freeway now. Anything that attracts police attention is not good in the long run. Got to make money some way. |

That's strange, because there are always plenty of posts in here asking where to buy/find something. I thought it was only for sale posts that were verboten. <scratches head> |

Just how often do stops occur for suspicion of window tint violation? (40-8-73.1) My girlfriend got stopped for 35% I think. Less than a year ago. In a stock honda, wearing scrubs, on the way to work at 0830 or so. Conversely, I got stopped for traffic violations a few times with 5% or 10% at best and the officers never said anything. 35% isn't really noticeable to me. It's better than stock, but so is 99.99%. Not worth tinting unless its under 20% light transmission. -Mike |

32% or more light transmission is legal on all windows except the winshield, where you can have a 6" strip of non-reflective tint. And the tint on your windows cannot be more than 20% reflective.
In short - 3M 35% film is the legal standard for shops. They usually will not give you a reciept if they tint any darker. -Mike |
