I July 2001 my friend from a neighbouring village had his house burgled.  Nothing much was stolen but the police turned out and did their CSI bit and recovered 2 drops of blood from the casing of the smashed front door window………

Here’s the kicker……..

This morning at 10am he gets a call from the police asking him to go down and make a statement regarding a female who had just popped out of their DNA database (they wanted him to confirm this female had no connection to the property)……

Apparently, they had picked her up on an unrelated matter and had taken a standard DNA swab, as is now the practice.  This rang the “unsolved crime” bell and Shazzam….. A burglary charge to add to her slate!

Technology at its finest or Big Brother tinfoil hat time?

My brother in law had 2 £500 push bikes stolen from his property.....getting the Police to even attend was like pulling teeth. Popo turns up...brother in law says where's the fingerprint guy....too busy...

DNA may be the way ahead but you still need men/women on the ground.

Some twat hit the side of my car (the Ghey one) 2 weeks ago and caused 4 grands worth of damage!! It was clearly there fault but as usual there were no witnesses.

Bobo wouldn't come out as no one was injured and they have two incident Police for the whole of our area (300000 residents)

Anyway to cut a very long story short I have stumped up the money out my own pocket (to avoid any no claims loss as with a car as Ghey as mine it can add up) .

Bobo is still not interested and the other twat is getting away with it scott free.

If I factor in the £1500 tax that I have paid this month as well that is a lot of money for F***k all reward.

So your house get burgled...you phone the Rozzers....they turn up but do nowt

What option is left.....And dont get drawn into the "well if you aint gonna investigate then i will"

I recovered a stolen motorcycle for my flatmate (15yr ago pre my FAC days)
I caught the thieving scumbag still sat on it with a few other scrotes who scattered when they saw me.
I made the little shit push the bike to our  van...2 miles... then made him load it onto the van...himself
All the while shouting and screaming at him (taunting him to run if he thought he could outrun me)....he was about 15-16 and was scared shitless
We went back to the Police station and told them we had recovered the bike and when asked about the details I told them it was being dealt with. They were none to happy but pipped down after reminding them it should have been their job to go find the bike in the first place. I found it after about an hour looking in all the usual places where these wankers ride stolen bikes. They know who all the thieves are and they know where they go...but still it was left to us to resolve.

Little johhny the theiving shitbag was left 4-5 miles from civilisation without any shoes or socks.

Not something I'd do these days....

but you can understand why I did it at the time.

If you're earning enough to pay £1500 tax, I'll know what to charge you for parts next time

My wifes car got stolen a couple of years ago, but was found and recovered by popo after a 'chase' which involved her car getting written off....Anyway the SOCO came around to fingerprint and DNA the car, took away fag ends etc and almost had an orgasm when he found blood inside the car. He even phoned one of his mates to gloat

Inside the car they found typical burgler breaking and entering tools, stolen goods and a letter from a friend of the scrote who stole the car who was currently 'inside' doing time.  The jailbird explained how great it was in prison, 3 meals a day, access to the gym, etc and he wasn't looking forward to getting out as he was having such a great time Sounds like a real punishment.....

Anyway, they caught the kid who stole the car, who decided to try and outrun a Police dog......The  dog won

Never did hear if he did any time though...

Sounds like you had a nightmare Pep....
