Nice hogs! I love the after hunt photos, with a truck full of meat!

I'm going on my second hog hunt in January. Unfortunately it is scheduled at the same time as the SHOT show, and I was planning on going this year. Decisions, decisions.

ETA your picture made the decision easier!

What is your opinion of the Power Point?

Power points seems to work great on pigs. I'm using 24.7grs of AA2230 which happened to be my most accurate and max load.

NICE!

We don't have many hogs up in this area. I want to put one in the freezer.....

Maybe, but he showed up to work with a smile on his face. That will keep him in meat for a while.

On the shoulder shots, did you get exit wounds? I'm working up a load for deer with this bullet and IMR 4895... since I have 8 lbs of it.

No exit wounds on the shoulder shot ones......... Those two were DRT. The other one that I hit in the neck had to be shot again. You can see the wound on the pig on the left that I needed to shoot again.....I was using a scope,it was running, and any other excuse I can add......

That reminds me, I need to load up some more Power Points

Thanks, the ones I loaded up have shot really well.  I took one small deer this year with 55 grain tap, It worked well, but I'll use a heavier bullet from now on. I would think that the hogs shoulder would much tougher than a deer's.
