not the greatest of outdoor movies, but not too bad either, got chuck bronson, lee marvin, carl weathers and angie dickenson in it.
after watching it I always get a hankering for a krag, it's also got plenty of savage 99, enfield, winchester's 73, 1897 and colt ssa action going on too. whats the going price on a krag nowdays? presently watching Zulu, plenty of martini/henry rifles, webley revolvers and spears. |

600-800 bucks will buy a complete unbubba'd Krag longrifle. Maybe $300 or so for one thats sporterized already.
Death Hunt is a pretty good flick. I always liked the cabin siege scenes. I own a Martini Henry .577/.450 rifle myself. Talk about ammo thats expensive! Also not the easiest caliber to reload for. If they would have just chambered the Martini in .45-70. |

If they would have just chambered the Martini in .45-70. thought for a bit about getting one of the carbines back when they were advertized in shotgun news, but lack of readily available ammo held that want up, would like to find one of the webely revolvers for cheap that has been converted to 45acp though |

Pardon the hijack... I've got a Martini-Henry too, and it's predecessor, the Snider. They look to be in okay shape, but where can I take 'em to find out? Now back to "Deathhunt". Sam- My buddy at the show- is a gunsmith. That boy has skills
