I went to Decatur recently for a family funeral. Decatur is my hometown, I've lived in TX for over 25 years.
What the hell has happened? I haven't been there in years, driving around the inner parts of town looked all ghetto. |

| What's not to like about Decatur. It has some of the best public housing in the state (Wabash Crossing). It is a true Mecca for those seeking entitlements. Businesses will not locate here because of the lack of a skilled workforce, whether it be technical or manufacturing. I don't think Decatur will prosper any time soon. |
