I need a little decision making assistance here. Looking to spend a portion of my Christmas money and have narrowed my list down to the following:
1: Springfield M1A - Soccom II - Urban Camo 2: LWRC 12.7" upper 3: Surefire Suppressor (FA556SA) OR GemTech G5 (possibly G5-T) 4: NIB HK P7M13 I'm looking to spend in the neighborhood of $1500-$2000; so while I would really enjoy all of these, I am only able to afford one. I have my own reasons for wanting / needing all or at least each ad every one of them. Which would you choose and why? Thanks for your help. |

I currently own the following:
HK P30 HK45 G19 LWRC PSD 5.56 (3) Stag M4's If I get the LWRC 12.7 upper, it would be for the purpose of building another SBR for my soon to be F1 lower. Of which I would / could put the Surefire Suppressor on. I have always liked the P7's. Along with the M1A, for the sole reason I do not own a "long distance" gun. |
I've got a 10.5" SBR that I've had for awhile. I find that I shoot my 18" and 20" guns a lot more. I really like my can. It almost sucks going to the range and having people near you shooting non-suppressed firearms . I see now why they are so accepted in Europe.

Get the can, go 7.62 with quick detach option, buy correct attachements for your 556 and 762 weapons. You will love the noise reduction, and may hate the added weight. Go out to a dealer who has them in stock and look them over. Some even have demo models you can shoot before making your decision.
If you are thinking about a Socom II, I guess weight isn't a determining factor. If you have big hands, the P7M13 is great, I prefer the P7M8 because my hands aren't quite big enough for the M13. Wish I had the M8 back. |
