I voted today and the republican election guy doing the paperwork asked for my email address, which he was writing down next to the voting rolls in the same 3 ring binder. Screw that! I just said "no thanks", rather than write "n/a", the dickhead wrote "refuses to give out email address" I looked at him like WTF?
I was shocked to see that almost everyone else, 90% or more gave out their email to that chump. Why would you do that. If it ain't on the voter registration card, you ain't getting it. |

I politely declined but didn't notice what he wrote in the binder. |

Contrary to most of their libtard elitist thought... most Democrats are not very bright. To be fair, a lot of the religious right type are uneducated and somewhat ignorant when it comes to science especially... but at least most of them aren't under the illusion that they are somehow enlightened intellects.

I can think of two reasons they might want email addresses of party members. 1. Most likely reason is they want to spam you looking for contributions. 2. Less likely but possible reason. If you decide to get more active in the party they might want to do a google search and see what kind of posts and such your email is associated with. |

The officials had two binder books. One was the county generated election rolls for the precinct with a list of all registered voters. The other was a list used to match the number of ballots cast vs the number of ballots in the box at the end of the day. That list was the one where they wanted my email address. I never "share" my email. Even a throwaway one at retail stores, why would I do it while voting is beyond me. I'm almost positive he is the same guy who likes to stand next to the ballot box to "help" place ballots into the automatic feeding machine. Of course he glances at your ballot too. Which is weird. Maybe I'll see him again for Senate runoff! |

I wasn't asked for an email address in Bell when early voted. |
