A good friend of mine lost it and went into a tree while responding to a call last night. He's a good guy. Went back to back with me once (he could have bailed) against a notorious bike gang and we came out ok.

Many have asked what blood type Deputy Norsworthy is. He is O - but it doesn't matter what blood type you are. Anyone and everyone that can are asked to please donate. On Monday, December 27, 2010 at approximately 6:43 p.m. Deputy John Norsworthy was involved in a serious motor vehicle accident while enroute to back-up a Deputy on a traffic stop. Deputy Norsworthy was life-flighted to Memorial Hermann Hospital, downtown, where he remains in critical condition with head injuries and internal bleeding. As of early this morning he is responding to medications and is undergoing a second surgery for internal bleeding and an angiograph to his pelvic area. Deputy Norsworthy has already used approximately 48-units of blood and Doctor’s are having a difficult time finding the source of where he is bleeding from. You can help and support them by donating blood under his name at any Gulf Coast Blood Center. Fort Bend County Road & Bridge is having a Blood Drive today 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. They are located at 201 Payne Lane, Richmond, just off of F.M. 762 and their contact number is (281) 342-4513. Deputy Norsworthy started with the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office in November 2008. Prior to working here he was a Patrol Officer for Rosenberg Police Department. He has a wife, Melissa, and two kids, Katie and Jacob. |

I cannot, as I have taken Maleria Pills in the last couple of years but will ask anyone i know that can, to donate. Best wishes for him and his family. |
