Is he a gun lover?  I know he gives truck loads of money to conservative organizations but I never heard where he stands on gun issues.

Seeing as we're in a "blue" state, I don't see how Jenny can get voted out. She's managed to fly pretty low on the radar. The biggest thing she did to piss anyone off was allow dove hunting, and that only pissed off a bunch of tree-huggers! What's she done to piss off the average Michigander? Not much as I recall. I'd love to see a conservative in the Governor's office, but I suspect she's going to get re-elected handily.

At the gun show today, I asked the guys from GLSSA if they new anything about Devos and they said not yet.  They told me as soon as they find out they will put it on their web site and in the news letter.  I know its early but I want to know witch GOP'er to send money to so we have a better chance of getting rid of ole pizza face and get ourselves a pro gun govener.
I'm guessing it will be Devos who gets the nomination because he's loaded and I've never heard of the other two canidates.

I'm not sure I agree with you. The economy in MI has not improved and she continues to cut education and other services that are traditionally democratic issues. Grandholm is backing Kwame in Detroit despite his corruption. MI has been more conservative traditionaly than liberal. It is only auto unions and Detroit that are liberal strongholds.   I think the economy and cuts to education might sway many traditional Dems to consider a more forcefull leadership in Lansing.

The union fools need to wake the hell up before its too late.(if it isnt already)
Unemployment is at 6.7% here in Muskegon now,its down a little but only because the nation itself is down as well.My fiancee(9 years IBEW) says its all going to hell in a handbasket. She and hundreds of others in her local havent worked in 3-4 years.I know millwrights who are in the same boat, and now the major auto manufacturers are talking about getting the heeeeel outa Dodge!!(fiance saw it on the news so I dont know the details) If that happens we are DOOMED.
Muskegon voted no on the casinos here..........why I dont know.........there aint nothing else here for anyone to want to take the new ferry over here for.
Farmers are having it real rough from the sounds of talk at the club.Manufacturing is improving a little, but still nowhere NEAR what it needs to be.Companies still move south......or out of the country altogether.
I dont have the answers,Im a machinist(unemployed....at that) not a politician.
Thats Granholms job..........and IMO ,she sucks bog water at what she does.Period.
DUMP HER SOON!!
I dont know where Devos stands on guns, but the laws cant get much worse.Texas is headed in the right direction..........and thats where Nugent moved too..........we need to get our laws on their track.

And where in the hell has all our lottery money gone to?
Why exactly IS education still floundering??!!?? Are these lottery workers all making 50K a year or something or are we retracting an equal amount of $$ for every dollar we give it from the lottery??
This state really pisses me off sometimes...............I often wonder what the hell made me move here.

Oh yeh..........my fiance..............who refuses to leave.

Sorry for the rant

Well, if she "continues to cut education and other services that are traditionally democratic issues" won't that put her into a good light with some conservatives? She got through a bad budget situation without "officially" raising taxes (though all the fees that got raised are a de facto tax increase, something I hope her opponent brings up). The Detroit newspapers and national press give her fawning coverage; she's a good-looking woman and an incumbant. And to top it all off, Devos suffers from the "Dick Syndrome": how many guys named Dick have lost a Michigan gubernatorial election lately? Funny maybe, but there really are simpletons in this state that vote one way based on something so stupid.

Since when does bs, corruption, stupidity and common sense matter to the majority of voters in this state? As evidence...Klintonx2, Kerry once, not to mention Jenny.
