Customer service is a great thing when you get it.  This weekend I broke the decapping pin on my used Square Deal B.  I called Dillon and had a short talk with Mike.  A new decapping pin on the way.  Free.

I am thinking about calling them back and ordering a 550.

Go ahead and get the 650.  With the casefeeder.  You know you want to.

Another vote for the 650.  Can't go wrong with any Dillon though.

Why the 650 over the 550?  If you were going to reload 223, 9mm and 260 which one would be best and why?

260 I would do on a single stage

I am assuming that the 260 is a precision rig, and when using a single stage you can be a little more precise. And you can make changes easier on a single stage to work up loads and such .

650 is progressive so its faster than the 550 and less risk of a double charge. Switching calibers on a 650 takes longer than a 550 though so it really depends on how much 223 and 9mm you will be running. If only a 500 or so of each, then go with a 550, if more, than maybe a 650. Check this out for more info http://www.dillonprecision.com/customize-reloader.html

Check out Brian Enos he has a very good break down of all the dillon presses.

Both are great presses and as others have pointed out - it will more then likely come down to the volume you want to reload. Although, if you shoot enough 260 to justify a 650, I'd be interested to know what the hell you're doing.
