As you all know there aren't any gun shops inside DC except for the VPC Violence Policy Center which is an anti-gun rights organization.  Say Uncle, a blogger has an interesting idea.  Everyone needs to call the VPC up and ask them how much they charge for a transfer?  When they don't respond remind them that it is illegal to have an FFL and not conduct business with it.

So, how does one lawfully get guns into DC? Even after Heller takes effect, it’s a tough issue due to zoning:

Washington has no federally licensed gun stores, so nowhere in the city can residents buy a handgun legally.

Not true, really. There is one licensed firearms dealer in the city. One Josh Sugarmann of the anti-gun shill group the Violence Policy Center.

They can be reached at:

Violence Policy Center
1730 Rhode Island Avenue, NW
Suite 1014
Washington, DC 20036

phone (202) 822 8200

Ask them what they’re charging for transfers. If they say they don’t do them, remind them that, thanks in part to their kind’s lobbying efforts, it is typically viewed a violation of federal law to hold an FFL and not be in the business of dealing firearms.

Update: another suggestion is to get a C&R.

Personaly, I wouldn't do buiness with anyone who supports the Anit gun movement...exspecaily someone who is in fact a FFL. I would look into getting my own FFL or find someone who can do it. The DC vs Heller is going to open up a whoile to market for firearms in the DC area and could be a very profitable business in the near future.

Once again, congratulations my brothers and sisters,
Ray

I just read the CFR. An 01 FFl can also be used for collecting.  I don't think we can make VPC give up their FFL.
