Yea that’s me, porter is my mothers maiden name and I like to use it as well because I was close to my granddad and its my middle name. I see this guy has spelling issues and I also do being heavily dyslexic my self. I also see that some twit has boycotted the signing by writing something counter productive but I would have thought people here where pro second amendment? I have seen similar things here posted in the past including a civilian marksman petition. Interested in responses not for arguments but just to learn more about your attitudes towards this. All the best guys. Milo |

the US second amendment will never be part of UK law and I wouldn't want it to be I'll settle for being able to lawfully being able to pursue my chosen sporting pass time. Any campaign to get a right to "keep and bear arms" is counter productive and will spur on all the anti's who already think all fire arms owners are lunatics thus driving an even bigger wedge between shooting sportsmen and the undecided majority of the public. A big +1 Tony |

yea good point, but there is also a strong argument around the world that if target shooters and firearms where supported by their government law abiding target shooters would not have to hid in fear of another media smear campaign as the general public would be informed and supportive instead or misinformed and manipulated through fear mongering. I’m not saying that all uk citizens should have the right to an SLR or AK but was the country really that bad 40 years ago when many citizens kept a double barrel shotty under the stairs for reasons other than target shooting. anyway I guess this issue has been raised a lot on here, looking at this petition I still believe in its cause (i personally prefer a Swiss style system) however its credibility is shot to crap because of reasons stated above which I did not initially see. all the best guys Milo |

i guess that would do the job, lol i prefer the old, reliable shotgun because if granddad felt the need to fire it, 1000m down the road i don’t have to worry about a round coming through my kitchen window. I personally think this governments attitude to self defence and firearm ownership is a joke and whilst i respect peoples views to not be involved in trying to change the system because they fear loosing all sporting rights i quite simply can say i will be campaigning for the right to defence and the right to bear arms until the day i die. I often look at this man for inspration!
