The wife and I got a rescue dog about 6 months ago.  He's a 2.5 y.o. GSD and Chow mix.  He's somewhat territorial, barks at UPS, Fedex and people that approach the house.  I'm ok with that but recently he has snapped (not bitten) at 3 different people.  Does anyone know of a good dog trainer that could help him with his aggression "issues" and give me an idea of what this is going to cost.  I'm afraid with behavior like this it will only be a matter of time before he gets his teeth into me or somebody else.

Where are you?  If you are near or around Atlanta/Northern suburbs i know a guy that is great.  He is my dogs fourth trainer, the other three quit, and my dogs is the shit now.

Cost me $600 bucks, lifetime training.

His name Alex Tutterow  706.974.9811

If he doesn't work in your area I am sure he knows someone that does.  Good luck.  I strongly recommend this guy.  He is also a deputy sheriff for what its worth.

Is this guy, by chance, a Sheriff's Deputy?

this thread needs Great Dane pics!

Good luck with the dog training.  I'm a fan of Cesar Milan, he understands training aggressive dogs.
