I never thought  I would see stuff like this in Clarksville TN, but it seems to be occurring more and more. Last night my friend's truck parked in his driveway was struck with a bullet. My wife and I left his house about 11.45 pm and the shooting occurred about 30 min afterward. A neighbor witnessed it and called the police. There is a house a couple down from his with some shady guys living there and he thinks the bullet was probably  meant for them judging by the weird angle his truck was shot. It's a decent middle class neighborhood off the 101st behind the NG Armory.

I am not surprised, especially after my own robbery. Warmer weather will bring about an increase in crime. That and there are some real upstanding citizens roaming the city. It will definitely get worse before it gets any better. It does suck though, feeling like you cannot relax, especially when you consider this place really isn't that big!

Doesn't surprise me at all. Even Springfield has had some major (for them) issues with gangs & general thuggery & they're 1/2 the size of Clarksville.

You forgot to mention that Clarksville's finest is right around the corner.

He got the police report today and it states three shots were fired from a 9mm at his neighbors house police believe. Three casings were found in the street in front of the neighbors house and police couldn't find where any round struck it. The old adage you couldn't hit the broad side of a barn comes to mind, which  guess is lucky for the neighbor. I'll say they won't know definitively it didn't strike the house until it rains, with the way these idiots were shooting can't rule out a roof strike.
