What kind of desert is in/around Las Vegas?  I mean is it like Kali's Mojave, or Arizona's Sonora?  How much brush is there?  What camo/ military colors would stick out? OD,TS,etc.  In other words does everything need to be tan or desert camo?

The desert here is rocky with hard dirt and low scrub like joshua trees and scrub grass. You'll see some sand and dunes in alot of areas. Your best bet for cammies would be the current issue deserts, thats why we wear them here at Nellis AFB. Tan clothing also works here too.

Natural Gear makes a good pattern for the Las Vegas desert area.  Also, Mossy Oak Break Up works pretty well since it contains a limited amount of green but plenty of browns and grays.  If you were standing out in the open the NatGear works well.  If you are up next to a bush, such as when hunting, almost any camo will work.
