The rule change isn't great but as long as that CLEO certificate (which is really unobtainable for almost everyone for liability reasons) isn't required, everything else can be tolerated. Latest word is that the rule change will occur in May 2014. |

I don't think they are taking the CLEO signature out of play for individuals. I have never really looked into this because no CLEO is going to sign off on that around here. I can't even imagine the liability/shitstorm that would be involved if a CLEO signed off on an NFA item and that item was used in a crime. |
