We had the nicest thread here once about the Eagle River public range. Anyone have a copy of the thread, I can't find it in the archives.

As far as I can tell it is closed due to the snowmobile trail going close to the range. Although in the opposite direction from the firing direction, it crosses the road to the range out by the highway.

7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. It is closed during the

through it, and the access road is not plowed.

I think it opens in May. Did you try the range in Antigo? It's truely a nice range. I think it's still open. Otherwise the private range here in Rhinelander is still opened.
