I want to be positive, but I just can't. I'm gonna vote. I'm gonna do my part...
but it all kind of seems hopeless. I can't believe how many unpatriotic sheeple there are out there. Especially the young. I can't believe that young people these days will listen to all the nonsense out there about him (the Socialist) and say that it doesn't matter? It is all in the past? We need a new direction? What a bunch of crap. Sheeple will believe anything I guess. I can only hope that this dickhead, when he wins, will piss everyone off so much because of what he stands for that there will be no chance of a re-election. I have a headache. I'm gonna go hold Hrunting (my AR) for a while. That may make me feel better. I'm not usually pessimistic like this, but this one has got me. |
| As much as I hate using the credit card, I told the wife to be prepared for my panic buying of lowers, rifle kits, mags and reloading components. For someone to be the self proclaimed uniter, I have never in my 28 year life seen this country so divided. I am, like you feeling hopeless. The only thing I can do is trust in my god, bible and guns. I can also swear to you, I will be holding ALL of them tightly...very tightly. |

Stop listening to the media. The fact you are depressed shows you have bought into the hopelessness they've been trying to sell you.
I believe the state polls that the electoral projections have been based on are skewed and under estimating McCain. I think McCain will pull it off. Hopefully I won't have to eat my words - but I don't think that I will. Now I'm off to vote @ 6 AM |

Please don't consider this a debate/argument/attack. It's a flat out inquiry. I simply want to know why you think that? What is your reasoning in that the polls are underestimating McCain? ETA: I hate the new editor. |

Just finished voting, McCain of course Rick the Courier SGF, Mo. |

I have always been told not believe the polls from the weekends. They say they are more skewed because Rep. are more family oriented then the Dems. Therefore are more likely to be out doing things with the family unit and not to be at home doing phone polls. That is just what I have heard. Bright side CNN did a poll and 78% of Americans as of yesterday still think McCain will pull it out. ETA: I was the first one to vote in my area. #1 for McCain Baby!!!!! |

Did my part to defeat socialism today! Took an hour to get through the line, there were a couple of obamazombies out in the parking lot, and I was just baiting them to ask who I voted for, but they didn't Polytech |

I don't remember which poll it was (either Rasmussen or Zogby I think) but they supposedly conducted the majority of their polling during the day...you know, when people that work for a living wouldn't be home. Polls schmolls... |

Check out this thread from GD:
PUMA's say they will deliver Ohio and maybe even California PUMA = Party Unity My Ass = pissed off Hillary supporters. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. |

Well, one can only hope. I would like to be optimistic... but to me it seems out of reach.
I already voted (St.Louis is pretty liberal) and all I could see were sheeple everywhere. I actually caught two high school freshmen girls trying to take down my sign last night. WTF? They are not even old enough to vote yet. |

Voted around 10:45 AM and had several folks there but they divide names alphabetically and my line had one ahead of me. So I got in within a minute.
At least the folks I saw there voting that I knew voted McCain. I am praying and trying to stay optimistic. However, I am also realistic enough to be prepared. I ordered a shitload of assorted rifle and pistol magazines yesterday, along with a couple more uppers to go with the two lowers I got Saturday. Craig |
