| I am looking into getting one for my AR. Right now I have a Trijicon Reflex which I am pleased with, I just want another sight for reasons unknown. Anyway my question is; I have a Knights Armament quad rail, would it be OK to mount the eotech on that instead of buying a mount for my carrying handle? I just don't feel like spending more money than I have to. Thanks. |

Yeah it will work. The sights will be "cowitness". That means that as you look through iron sights the EOtech center dot will appear in your sight picture. Unless of course you had flip up sights, than you could fold them down so all you would see is the EOtech. Cowitness is also the fastses setup to switch between your optic and iron sights since all you have to do is turn the optic on or off. Hope this helps and move your sorry ass back to a real state man.

LOL. The short version is that an EOTech mount is set up to be same plane/co-witnessing with standard AR sights. That said, the forearms rails are also designed to be the same height as a standard flat-top. So, yes, it could work. Personally, all my rifles have flat-tops, as I prefer it. |
Thanks that's what I wanted to hear. That was my main concern. My RAS system seem snug but that can always change with shooting. Thanks!! Now I just need to find a good but cheep mount. Any suggestions? |
