Alright, what would you guys consider essential carbine spares?  Short of saying "buy a second carbine", what are the minimums that you would want in your spare parts bag?  Here is what I am thinking:

-White Oak Arms LPK
-White Oak Arms Trigger, hammer and associated springs
-Spare BCG (I am thinking BCM, but these are hard to find)
-Buffer and spring

Anything else that has a high failure rate and warrants a spare?  I want to get these together now before they become impossible to find and/or insanely expensive.

some magazine rebuild kits are a good thing. i would probably have a bolt rebuild kit, gas rings, extractor, firing pin, etc.

Good point.  Most of that would be included in the complete spare BCG, but where is the best place to find these parts at reasonable prices?  White Oak as well?

Bravo Co has a bolt rebuild kit. I say you should have one of these because say you're fighting zombies and your extractor on your bolt in the rifle flies apart, you swap it out and now you have no extra, but when/if you get some down time you can rebuild the one that flew apart and you have a new spare. Magazine rebuild kits can be bought from CProducts for fairly cheap. $6.50 for 3 springs, followers, and floor plates.

In the military I always just carried a spare bolt with firing pin and TWO firing pin retaining pins.  About once a week somebody will lose their firing pin retaining pin.  Lower receiver parts rarely go bad if they are milspec.  Extractors, extractor springs, extractor pin, and ejectors are the big culprits.  Carry a spare bolt with firing pin and retainers and you're covered.  Small, light and easy to carry.
