| A few weeks ago had the right eye done, cataract and got a new lens put in. Today the left was done, go back tomorrow to get the patch removed. I'm amazed at what can be done now. Almost 20/20 in the right eye, didn't know how nice a tv I had, this HDMI is cool LOL. Reading on the 20/20 line I got 3 of the 5 letters and number 2 weeks ago. With both eyes done I may be able to get all 5 in a few weeks. Looking forward to all being healed up. Amazing a 66 year old will be able to see like I did when I was 30. |
| That is awesome. I had lasik done about a month ago. Went from 20/150 uncorrected to 20/15. I am amazed at the things I pick up at further distances. I went rabbit hunting two weeks after and at first I got distracted by how soon I could see the rabbit moving in the thicket. Amazing what they can do now. People put it off and when you finally get it done you wonder why you waited so long |
| Just back from follow up office visit, 20/30 one day after surgery. Better than the right eye did one day after. Have to go back in a week to be tested again and see how it's healing up. Got to admit it was worth every $$$ spent, since Medicare only covers the bare minimum. Now I can wear the ESS sunglasses and look cool like the rest of you tacticool young guys, LOL |
