which force was that ?

When I spoke to my local FEO, he was complaining about the level of work that has ensued after Cumbria (every other Mail reader in Surrey is raising concerns over a neighbour 'who I know has guns and looks at me strangely..' (sic)).

As Bradders says, it was Sussex. Normally they quote 8 weeks for a variation/renewal...

I just put in a variation to Cumbria on Saturday, frightened the poor guy to death when i started to push the envelope through the door, the door then opened with one of the team stood there is shorts and tee shirt, he looked shocked and said, "sorry sir I don't normally come to work like this, but it is a Saturday". Last variation took a week, post shootings I wonder if it will be the same, looking for a .308 this time round.
