Alright since no one else has offered up a serious answer here you go: Make sure your business affairs are in order, and have copies of everything on hand. If your going LLC make sure you can show your doing your quarterly duties with admin, taxes, and everything else. Have documentation on the zoning for location. Have a working knowledge of record keeping requirements, be prepared to answer questions about storage and security though there are few requirements. The last couple of people I have known that have gone after an FFL have said it wasn't painful and the inspector was actually quite friendly and helpful. Be prepared for the worst though. |
