| Are there any FFL's in DFW that will accept a handgun from a non ffl? I am wanting to trade handguns, but was told to make sure the ffl accepts from non ffl's. I called one local shop and was told that this is against the law. I would appreciate if someone could shed some light on this thank you. |

All I require is a copy of their drivers license (they can black out their birthdate if they want). Quoted:

An FFL who refuses to accept shipments from nonFFL's isn't making money off ANYONE. He either believes it's against the law (it's clearly not) or he's worried that the non FFL will mail him an unregistered machine gun which will arrive while ATF is doing an inspection (paranoid). |
