Does anyone know someone who can do this the same day?

The only concerns I have are the qualifications, cost, and time. I'm using the rifle this weekend.

It should be an easy installation, with no indexing on the supplied barrel nut, or need to remove the brake, as it clears the current and new rail. I live in an apartment
in the city with no space for my own bench, vice, or specialized tools

Thanks

if i still had my bench vise i'd help you out, but it was a POS and stayed with the old house. standard barrel nut or something exotic?

as for answering your question, if you're inside the loop, i've been to this guys shop and he seemed to know what he was talking about.  when i was there he said they will do some light gunsmithing work.

I'm upgrading my old Centurion C4 to one of their newer CMR M-LOK rails. Very cool and not terribly expensive.

The C4, as some know uses the A2 style barrel nut and the CMR has a proprietary one, but does not need to be indexed.

So your haveing to remove the old barrel nut and putting on a new one right? Sounds like the MI style where the handgaurd fits over there nut. I did my 300 blackout with the MI one. Some of those stock nuts are stuck bad. They say 60-80 lbs but i think they go WAY over on some. Ive had the ears shear off and ended up useing a dam pipe wrench to get the old one off before. Welp, good luck and hope it turns out good for ya.

Sorry I just saw this tonight. I can do it Thursday or Friday night so you're read for the weekend.

OP,
Would the C4 rail you're removing happen to be a 10 inch?
If so, and you'd want to sell it, please let me know, as I need one for a build.

Thanks!!!
