YOU actually went to Alpine??? I have refused to go there since they gave me total hell about my AR. I had 3-20 rounders loaded with rem 69 grn SMK OTM for my middy to re-sight in my Aimpoint at 50 with that load, and then see where they landed at 100 just for reference... those ASSHOLES seriously emptied my mags and checked every round to make sure there was that little open point. the guy checking was older, and one tip was kinda "smashed" he yelled "ahh, I found a FMJ" and waved it around.. looking at me like I'd fucked him over or something, the other younger guy looked it over and corrected him. If I hadn't already paid, I would have left. they explained that some young asshats will put HP in the first couple rounds, then have FMJ in the rest of the mag. I told them not to be anal about fmj, they don't dig that deep, they should be out there with magnets worried about my ss109 stuff, that stuff will fly. I will never go back there, certainly not with an AR or AK that I like to use FMJ with. I'll drive to the ranch from now on. |
The reps had FN's Five-SeveN, 9M and 45 pistols plus the PS90 and F2000. They could all be shot for $15 plus there was a sweepstakes for the 9M. The PS90 sure does shoot nice. The F2000 ejects brass in an interesting manner. |
