... Wow, I cannot believe it ... Steve_ is the epitome of Internet nice guy! What TF happened here. Perhaps I'm behind the times because of my personal issues, but I cannot for the life of me understand why Steve_ went so drastically wrong that he got banned from ARFCOM ... I do not blame the owners completely. Their lives are as full of turmoil as ours, but shit man - this deserves some investigation! |

Question--dunno who they are (other than Steve_ obviously), but did they "earn it" or do you really believe there is some kind of "persecution" of AZ members by Staff??

Free Steve and all other AZ/ARFCOMER's! Except markm  Maybe we should start our own AZ/ARCOM site. Make it a eighteen an older site. Make it like, the relaxed Preban.com I even read Aimless and D getting at it over there. Stuff they would both be, banned for over here. Can AR15.COM go back to the way it was founded on. It was way more fun back then. |

yes to both. The "banning" of the word in question is stupid, and so is the banning of folks who use it. You have been told several times in threads what the use of the word means and where is comes from. On the other hand, if someone were to come out in defiance of STAFF and use the word after being warned, well, stupid is as stupid does... But that is not the case here..... Sorta.

Following the locking of that thread, Derek (azexarms) was asked politely and privately to not use that term. He refused. Three times. Then he was locked. He was unlocked and returned to start it again. At that point, what can we do??  ETA: Oh, I do not consider Steve_ to be "banned"--just locked for now. I'm waiting to hear back from him. If anyone talks to him, please tell him to reply to my e-mail. TIA

There's alot of people that do more for this AR15 Club than the Staff people here, Its just wrong that the wrong type of people are governing over this site, besides there's worse said in here like cuzzing each other out than just simple one phrase words. Seems like AzComrs getting locked more and more. Shit man, Free steve. |
